Counseling for Special Children

GuidanceClinicIndia offers specific counseling service for Special Children. 

We would however like to make it clear here, that our services are restricted and limited to counseling alone and we do not offer any rehabilitation services.

Counseling for Special Children के अंतर्गत GuidanceClinicIndia द्वारा निम्न लिखित श्रेणियों के बच्चों के लिए विशिष्ट सेवाएँ दी जाती हैं:-

• • Physically Handicapped Children;
• • Speech and Hearing Handicapped
• • Visually Handicapped;
• • Children with specific health problems;
• • Mentally retarded Children;
• • Mild Educable Mentally Retarded (EMR);
• • Moderate Trainable Mentally Retarded (TMR);
• • Severe or profound Mentally Retarded (SMR /PMR);
• • Custodial Mentally Retarded (CMR);
• • Learning Disabled Children;
• • Habitual Slow Learners;
• • Handicapped Slow Learners;
• • Less-able Slow Learners;
• • Gifted Children;
• • Creative Children;
• • Intellectually Superior Children; and
• • Emotionally Problematic Children.

 उपर्युक्त श्रेणियों के छात्रों का व्यक्तित्व सामान्य छात्रों से पूर्णत: भिन्न व विशिष्ट होता है। इनका विकास यदि सही ढंग से नहीं हो पाए तो ये जीवन भर अपनी विशिष्टता के अनुरूप स्वयम को अभिव्यक्त नहीं कर पाते तथा उनमें हमेशा हीनभावना ,द्वन्द्व, तनाव, चिड़चिड़ापन,अकेलापन, सामाजिक दुराव, मोहभंग ,अविकसित आत्म-प्रत्यय इत्यादि अनेकानेक ऐसी स्थितियॉ विद्यमान रहती हैं जिससे वे कभी भी आत्मसंतुष्टि का अनुभव नहीं कर पाते। ऐसे छात्रों का पता लगाना तथा उन्हें उनकी मूलभूत प्रवृत्ति के अनुसार दिशानिर्देश देते हुए उपयुक्त काउन्सलिंग उपलब्ध कराना ही GuidanceClinicIndia की इस सेवा का उद्‌देश्य है।

GuidanceClinicIndia द्वारा यह सेवा दो रूपों में प्रदान की जाती है:

• स्कूल में

School Services के अंतर्गत Psychological Assessment के दौरान यदि कोई छात्र उपर्युक्त श्रेणियों में से किसी श्रेणी का पाया जाता है तो उसे पृथक रूप से आवश्यक Psychological Counseling services उपलब्ध कराई जाती है।

• छात्र को वैयक्तिक रूप से

यह सेवा प्रत्येक छात्र के लिए उपलब्ध है। GuidanceClinicIndia द्वारा यह सेवा सीधे या Referral Case के रूप में संचालित की जाती है। छात्रों के अभिभावक  सीधे भी GuidanceClinicIndia से संपर्क कर 

Procedure

Pay a visit to the office of the GuidanceClinicIndia with a prior appointment.  Please try to reach the office 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment on the day of test.

Test Drill:

Step I- Initial Interview: A short session with the expert counselor for exchange of basic information that would help him to understand the aspirations, interests, strengths and weakness of the student.

Step –II Testing: Results of all psychometric tests are given to the student in the form of a report card. The report is generated within 2 days. The report will have the following details:-

•            Personality profile;

•            Real interest areas with details of each Psychological test.

Step III:  Commencement of the Counseling Sessions.
